It is significant for ICCR to invite this performance to India, recognizing the impact that both Lightfoot and Rajkumar had on classical dance. This demonstrates that through the years, classical dance has become less insular, spreading the medium beyond India and paving the way for those who reside outside the subcontinent to participate.
