Qutb Khan ki Masjid, Sohna

Qutb Khan's Masjid is a rectangular shaped structure with three arched openings leading to the interior, with central opening being higher and broader than the rest. The wall facing the archways houses the mehrab in red sandstone. A low arcaded verandah is located at both ends of the structure, enveloping the sides. A dome is located at the center of the structure resting on a high octagonal base. Exterior of the Masjid are adorned with arched niches in rectangular panels flanking the arched openings. Fluted minarets are lcoated at the rear of the structure forming a deocrative feature of the Masjid. The Masjid is constructed in rubble and detailed in red sandstone. This Masjid is abandoned and is in use by locals for storage and drying cowdungs cakes.
