This is an exhibition from the archival collections of theArchives and Research Centre for Ethnomusicology American Institute of Indian Studies. It traces the development of Jazz in India from the 30s to the Jazz Yatra era Recordings, ephemera, images. Three themes are presented here with subsections that allow you to read text, refer to images and recordings from the Niranjan Jhaveri Jazz Collection and the Naresh Fernandes Jazz Collection.
